R&D Farm

R&D Farm

Krop AI's primary focus is high yield/ KW of energy used with optimal yield. For leafy greens, efforts are made for a variety of crops with the highest flavour while keeping energy costs down. The end goal is to offer an economical container farm that uses technology with frictionless growing.

The farm has tested 4 strawberry cultivars and is expanding into fully vertical growing systems that will increase yield by 4x per sq ft while decreasing 50% less energy consumption per kg.

Location: Udupi, KA
Status: Complete and operational
